Janet Mock, Piers Morgan, and The Saga of The TransGender.

Aloha, Amigo!
How has the day been going? It is going on well around here. The day has been fun, and I am enjoying it as full as someone can at work. You know the fun at work and The fun off work are on different levels. Anyway, we are pulling as much of it as we can. Who says work can't be fun? Oh, that might be Piers Morgan of Piers Morgan Live, CNN. On Tuesday, when Piers Morgan aired his interview with Janet Mock on Piers Morgan Live on CNN, I was shocked. Let me update you.

Janet Mock is a trans woman, a male transgender that surgically altered his body, so as to 'become' a female. Janet Mock became a public figure when she appeared in an article in Marie Claire, where she graced the cover page in 2011. The article title was "I Was Born a Boy." Naturally, that would generate a new wave of readership for the magazine.

By the way, her real name was Charles Mock, when she still was a... uh, boy. Her book, Redefining Realness, just came out on February 4th. Clearly, she had to put herself and her book more out there. That must have been how Piers Morgan came in.
Anyway, after the interviewed was aired, Janet Mock claimed Piers Morgan was sensationalizing her life. “He’s trying to do infotainment,” Mock said of Morgan in an interview on BuzzFeed. “He doesn’t really want to talk about trans issues, he wants to sensationalize my life and not really talk about the work that I do and what the purpose of me writing this book was about.”

Well, talk about turn of event. Before that interview Janet Mock took to twitter where she lashed out at Piers Morgan. Morgan first tried being a Gentleman, but must have thought, "What the hell!", so he lashed back. At the end Piers calmed down and asked Janet to come today for another interview. And she did.

I looked at her and felt pity. She is actually troubled beneath all those facades. It makes one wonder what led her to that in the first place. It must be a mind thing. We were still complaining about the gay thing, and here is this again. Not new though. But that is my opinion, anyway. You are welcome to yours.

Aku Cinta Kamu, Amigo.
